At the request of Dong-A Ilbo's reporter Kim Tae-eon, I answered an interview to choose the exhibition designs of the year 2022. Dong-a Ilbo, established in 1920, is considered one of Korea's major media outlets. The article aimed to revisit standout exhibition spaces of the year through interviews with five experts in exhibition and spatial design, with the goal of sharing their insights with the public.
The interviewed experts are Kim Yong-joo, lead designer at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art; Kim Tae-hyung, Chief Designer at Leeum Art Museum (Samsung); Lee Dae-hyung, former Artistic Director of the Korean Pavilion at the Venice Biennale; Lee Se-young, founder of the space design studio 'Nonstandard'; and Oh Seu-hyun, a senior designer at Sigontech, the exhibition planning company.
